Powercolor is an old manufacturer and during the R350 era they have manufactured the best ATI cards one could buy.
They have been doing that before MSI, ASUS, GIGABYTE and all the likes went into the market for gaming video cards.

i was a little put off by PC, seeing a ton of the refurb on newegg and the not so good reviews. I know, I know, newegg reviews are worth nill. But one can tell things are a little off when you see a lot of refurb from a retailer. Most other brands, the refurb/open-box units would get snagged up quickly, but PC still was on there (a lot of stock or revolving door by both retailer and manufacturer, ?). Though, the Devil series look noyce smile.gif.

I went with sapphire since the TriX cooler was pretty good and at that time I was still on air.

Pretty much same experience here. I'd previously wanted to pick up their 7990. Was adding them (290Xs) to the cart and saw all the reviews with issues. I went with the TriX as it was cheaper than reference-cooled and would work well until I went water

The korean 1440P monitors that overclock damn well like the QNIX QX2710 are bad ass. In the market for one myself. 96hz seems easily doable. Some get 120hz out of them!
4k is just too new and too expensive. Best 4k experience is with 32" or great screen imho for typical monitor setups. So, the natural suggestion would be triple WQHD, but I"m not sure if amd has fixed the many issues that plagued Eyefinity WQHD users.

I'm going w/ a single 32" WQHD (2560x1440). I think this is a good spot for single monitors w/out going Eyefinity or 4k. I've haven't dabbled w/ 120hz, so I can't really offer comment on it. Plus, ips 120hz WQHD are very few and I only like to run portrait in Eyefinity.

I do miss my five dell 6000x1920 Eyefinity setup though :'(
