My GPU temps are perfect (under 55C most of the time). It is just my VRM temps that I'm worried about. I knew that about the cooler but I didn't care since I was never going to use it.

I was using an Corsair SP120. Now I'm just using a 120mm Noctua fan that comes with the D14. There really is no difference in temps but the noise level is more to my liking.
For me to get 90C on VRM1 I'm running games at a framerate (200+) that I'll never play at. I usually cap my games at 90, unless FPS, but I want to see the maximum temp.
Is the thermal pad on the VRM worth changing? I know I have some pads that are thicker than that but I don't know if that is a good or bad thing. lol
