might need a bios/cmos reset. save your oc settings in bios if you will do it.

i fixed that. Sata power cable was so tough it wouldn't let me position the ssd correctly. just did a reseat for it.

Add me to the list too now smile.gif

Just realized I didn't add a darn picture to my original post, so here it is again with a pic thumb.gif

Finally upgraded from my 2GB GTX 770 to an R9 290X. I'm enjoying the performance difference so far. Here's the GPU-Z link and information needed so I can join:

Thanks! The only thing I'm really wanting to change up now is my PSU. I want a stronger, higher wattage one. This Antec is about 6 years old, but has been in 3 different builds of mine.

As for the fans. I like more cold air coming in to create a positive pressure inside my case. I just have to watch my temps. When I see them creeping up a bit, I'll take the side off to let the heat escape. Thankfully I don't have to food it that often. The fans in my radiator are the 140mm jetflows in push pull, so they exhaust enough air to almost keep up with the others.

Thanks, I'm really excited to see what this card can do. But I want to get a better PSU first. My 6 year old 650 watt Antec had been a workhorse, but don't think it's up to the task of pushing my CPU at its current 4.5 Ghz and the 290x.

I was looking through this thread today and realized that i never joined this club and I've had this card since may and it has been under water for soon 2 months. I am waiting for some parts and therefore the whole loop is down and i took the opportunity too take a picture. I excuse the bad picture, but my phone takes bad pictures in low light. XFX R9 290 DD Watercooled. Can i join? @Arizonian

How high can I push the core @ +20mv ? any ideas?

I pushed the core to the max at 100mV and was able to get a 1160 stable overclock with the memory at 1400. Though this did lead to a increase in temperatures which were 80 degrees @ 60% fanspeed
