Yes, on a completely stock sapphire tri-x bios, it can reach that memory speed.

I can use the extra performance on stock clocks for my New 4k monitor that I expect to get within 2 weeks from Korea.
I don't have a modded trix bios, but I can make one for you. You would get a bit more performance, but probably not much.

aha.
my point is, don't 1250 timings in 1500+ strap bring better results ? smile.gif

Yes 1250 timings in any higher strap performs better.

Man that would be awesome , do you need me to upload my cards stick bios so you can mod them? Or you you will use one from tpu bios database.

Maybe the answer is already somewhere in the 4030 pages...

I just got an EVGA Micro 2 with a 5960x cpu. Kept my old R9 280x oc (Gigabyte).
It crashes if I set auto or gen 3 in PCIE bios.
Gen 2 is fine.
It cuts down cinebench from 180 to 170 so not a huge deal, but I'm looking for a new card and don't want to buy an R9 390x (I need the memory for CAD models) if I have to run it on gen 2.

Anybody had this issue on other X99 boards?

Heya mate. Nice score.

How tight did you go?

Are you modding modding the memory strap as well?

Yes, i can have the 1126-1250 timings all the way up to 1625, but then i need to loosen the timings, so I used 1376-1500 timings in the 1626-1750 strap.

So I finally have my 1250 timings in 1250-1749 straps.
Big thanks to Gupsterg! thumb.gif

My quick results with 1200/1500MHz CF enabled are:

Performance

19854

vs

20008

Extreme

10364

vs

10588

Ultra

5603

vs

5703

Will continue testing tomorrow smile.gif

Nice, what are the first two HEX values of your target strap? Like, 77/71, DD/D1 etc.

I have went down as much as 1000 strap on my elpida for 1625. biggrin.gif but still, it's not a bencher.

This is the subject. If you can test it with yours.

DD/D1 vs 77/71. Same strap, just the first 2 hex values changed.
