prolly if you have a skylake you'll get an extra 400 pts in GS. got 26K with an older driver at 1290. win 10 will prolly add 400 pts.

Doable I think. :still haven't RMAd my MSI 290 and my unlocked card is now detected as ATI 8XXX!

Well, life throwing lemons!

they are indeed ageing very well. i find benching boring. i did mine the first few weeks of receiving the cards while doing other stuff like cleaning the house. best part is these cards can handle 4K quite well. of course, we can't max games like having a couple of 980Tis but . . . still looks better than maxed 1080. so long as they are not gimpworks.

You guys are getting me excited. I started flashing last night. Its a flash dance around here. What BIOS are you guys using?

Edit: Okay so I went over to here (http://www.overclock.net/t/1353325/tutorial-atiwinflash-how-to-flash-the-bios-of-your-ati-cardsf) and started flashing, but so far none of the flashes are taking.

I followed all the steps and it seems to be doing what it should. But... They all show as unsupported. Ideas?

Also, are you guys modding your own bios? I've seen that done some, wasn't sure how you all were doing it. I've got one pretty nice card that should do well. The other one has some turd RAM, so I would like to try to get better perf from it if I can. This should be fun.

Edit: I found this (http://www.overclock.net/t/1564219/r9-390x-bios-for-r9-290-290x-now-with-stock-and-modded-voltage-tables)

I'll read up and try before asking stupid questions. LOL

One question though...

do you guys uninstall your AMD drivers and disable crossfire before flashing?

good job to mus and fy!

Very nice!

That's the elpida card I assume. If so, are you willing to give it a spin on my BIOS? Not today though. Tomorrow?
I'm interested to test on my card.

BTW, did you try both cards, overclock in crossfire?

DOS?

Using command with admin privileges?

I didn't realize we had DOS on Win anymore? Maybe I'm confused.
