Two reasons: 1. I honestly don't have much time and interest in watercooling anymore, and 2. the friend I might have sold it to has indeed no watercooling setup anymore (he sold what he had and was thinking of a new system instead of the old Athlon II x2 250 he still has lying arround) and no interest in it anymore (he's got kids, busy job etc - just wanted something that works). He bought a PS4, now.
Honestly, while reworking my current setup arround a AM4 motherboard could be doable, it'll set me back quite a buck, in my first, raw approximations. A good aircooler would be cheaper and most likely, a good one would be more than enough for RyZen. They seem to hit a voltage bump on anything past 3.8/3.9 GiggleHertz.
As a result of those ideas, I was currious to see how the old Twin Turbo II would do and since I happened on those Gelid VRM heatsinks on sale, I thought I'd give it a go. I was very pleasantly surprised by the results I got.
