For those looking for the unlocked Asus bios:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/rv79yt18tob7fc8/ASUS.ROM

Noted to unlock voltage to 1410mv core, 1.7v mem. Also helps with power throttling as well it seems.

It is also compatible with the 290 though no unlocked shaders. Does unlock voltage.

May want to add this to op.

Credit goes to gibbo over at ocuk. He found out the Asus bios was the only one to unlock voltage.

You do have to use gputweak...for better or worse.

Also folks theres a new version beta 16 MSI afterburner out, came out yesterday - http://www.guru3d.com/files_details/msi_afterburner_beta_download.html

Might be worth giving it a shot.

that's 150mhz over the stock memory... perhaps you just got unlucky on the memory overclocking lottery? What brand card did you get?

I echo the call on how to flash the bios, I know how to flash NV cards just not AMD ones.

Interesting, I'm using sapphire as well, though the highest memory clock I've aimed for was 1350.. no issues here knock on wood. Perhaps I'll test 1400 and report back after I see how 1350 continues to do.. after all I'm only at 1080p and no game I play even maxed requires me to overclock thankfully
