Which I find hard to believe as almost no one in the 780Ti owners forum has one. If it was one of the best OC'ers they would be all over that group.

Again that's just my opinion, and for some reason folks there don't get anything other than EVGA anyway, very rarely.

I personally chose a SuperClocked Blower style for mySG05 due to the way the heat blows out of the ACX version.

The ACX version blows air out the side of the card, I was worried about the way it would be in the SG05.
It could cause the hot air to roll off the top of the case and back into the system.

I would think there's a good reason for it too.

Just a question Peeps, is it worth getting the classfied 780 ti? or will the extra money not help when just using air.

To get the justification out of the price, you would really need to be cooling on water to get the max OC out of it.

What card are you using at the moment? If your asking to upgrade from a 780Ti to the Ti Classified, but your staying on air cooling, then yeah, get a different item to upgrade the rest of the system speed, on air the Classy isn't going to net you any improvement over a std Ti honestly.
