how long do you all think an evga 760 ftw sli setup, both 4gb cards with a 1228mhz core clock on load and a mem clock of 224gb/s (heavily overclocked obviously) be good for high end gaming? with those settings, temps do not go over 82C, so i'm guessing it's perfectly safe. all input welcome smile.gif

Depends on which resolution you are playing at really. 1080p it can last for perhaps 2years in most games, 1440p++ one year.
But if you are willing to tune down settings a bit it can quickly last for a year or two longer thumb.gif

ya i'm playing at 1080p on my 42in flat screen. kinda of making me wonder though, is it really worth spending $600 on gpu's if they are really not going to last THAT long? i would have hoped it would kill next gen consoles for the next 6 years or so

For what it's worth I'm on my second gtx 590 as the first one emitted a giant white spark and then basically fell on its ass. I game on a single 27 or 28" monitor but I also Max everything at 1080p and I often have a movie or something running on a second 1080p monitor.

I also bought it brand new a few years ago for about 700 and I gotta say in retrospect, totally not worth it.
