I have a coolermaster seidon 120xl using push/pull configuration with both fans hooked into one of the 4 pin pwm headers on my gigabyte 990fxa-ud3. it is cooling an fx6300. my problem comes in 2 parts.

1. when stress testing with prime95 or ibt my fans will only go up to a maximum of 1500 rpms at 55+C although they are capable of running 2400 +/- 10%.

2. One of my fans will run a max of 1500 rpms during test while the other stays around 1000. both run off of the same 4 pin header via a splitter.

*speedfan & hwmoniter both show same rpms for fans so I don't think fan speed is being misread.

*have tried setting pwm slope as high as it will go in bios and have seen no changes in rpms.

*psu is coolermaster i700 80 bronze so I'm not lacking power.

*I also have cool n quiet and all other power saving options disabled.
