Pretty fair in my book, honestly. To give you insight into my thought on the matter.....Out of the box performance:
You crack the seal on the box, slap it in, what can it do? Simple.Enthusiast level:
Where we sit: Volt mods and water blocks - We as a community are comfortable doing these simple mods and tweaks. Things that can be done to increase performance that can be utilized all day.Professional Benchmarking:
LN2, customer VRM and other power delivery; like in Kingpins original Titan run: Basically this category consists of everything you can do to a card that isn't going to be used in normal operations, or out of the scope of the Enthusiast market. You can't run a card on LN2 all day, you can't run a setup like Kingpin's Titan setup all day.
Out of the Box vs Out of the Box, Enthusiast vs Enthusiast, the Pro Bench stuff is just for candy and giggles and isn't representative of jack. Some cards do better under water, others do better with volt mods, etc etc. If you want to get really crazy run a volt mod under water vs volt mod under water.
