RayStorm Twin D5 AX240 WaterCooling Kit (this is dual-pump; does this mean better cooling?)
RayStorm D5 Photon AX240 WaterCooling Kit (single tube instead of single square pump?)
RayStorm D5 AX240 WaterCooling Kit (same as Twin D5 AX240 but with a single pump?)
RayStorm D5 EX280 WaterCooling Kit (how does this one fit in?)
RayStorm D5 RX240 WaterCooling Kit (says sold out so is this discontinued?)

The main difference between the kits is the radiator itself. The EX is a dual 140mm fan rad, while the RX an AX are both dual 120mm fan radiators.

The dual pump kit just has more pressure, so adding extra blocks and radiators won't be an issue. But unless you are going with like quad cooled video cards, the single D5 should be plenty.

The RX radiator is actually their older design that was replaced by the AX, so you can disregard that one. The letters normally tell what type of radiator. On their old models the RX was the thick one, and the RS was the thin one.

Thanks.

Which is more preferable? The tube or the square box reservoir?

The difference between this and this is the shape of the reservoir? That's it?

Tube looks cooler and is glass, likely more expensive. Also I ordered an RX240 kit about 5 months ago, came with the bay res D5 combo. It leaks, unless you get the new design. I happen to get the old design.

How big of a difference should I expect between an H100/H100i and an AX240 kit? You said that your RX240 leaks, but that is discontinued now. I guess I should be safe getting an AX240?

No no, the RX240 radiator itself I have is fantastic, one of the best. The AX series is also amazing. The dual bay reservoir for the single D5 pump that mine came with leaks, there are a few threads about it floating around. One of the seals leaks; they have redesigned it and solved the issue but I happen to have an older design, likely because I opted for the thick, RX radiator which has been replaced by the AX series.

You should expect a huge difference between the H100i. Perhaps 5-10 degree load difference. The AX kit would be a great kit. In hindsight I should have gone with it as it performs almost identical to the thick RX radiators.

If I were you, I would go with the photon tube res AX240 with D5 pump. The photon tube res looks fantastic in my opinion. If you can fit the 360 they also have a 360 kit. What case is this going in?

Thanks.

The case is a 650D so I guess the 360 is out of the question. If I were to get the tube res, where would I place it in the case? Secondly, are there any advantages and disadvantages of the tube res over the "box" res?
