So i am working on my first WC setup. I will be cooling both my CPU and GPU in 1 loop. How can i tell if my GPU is a reference card or how do i make sure i get the right block to fit my card?

Which GPU do you have? I think the easiest way to tell is if it looks like the usual EVGA models for Nvidia, and ATI needs to look like the generic ATI picture:

This is the card i picked to use, EVGA GTX-770

Now that i checked the cooling configurator, it shows it as a verified reference card.

Thanks for the information, this makes it alot easier to move forward with my build.

Ive also read that if you look at the base of the GPU where it fits into the motherboard, reference model cards will have AMD stamped on them, regardless of what brand card you have purchased

like this ASUS card here...
