I see that some people put fans on both sides of the radiator does this help at all? i currently have a kraken x60 with 2 140mm fans as an exhaust from the radiator.

It helps with performance.

The velocity of air over the rad is greater in the push / pull setup.

You are able to run the fans at a slower speed (push / pull) to accomplish the same results of running fans in a single side setup (push or pull) at a faster speed. So the same performance at a lower noise level.

Space and cost is the most likely reason not to do it.
