My fan motors that i use for my H70 are about to take a poop and i need something to replace them.... wondering if this fan would work (or would be a good option) http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=7867794

Anyways just in case you would need to know i have an asus p8p67 deluxe (with b3 revision) , and an i7-2600k processor

What are you willing to spend on each fan and how much does aesthetics mean to you?

Well as of right now looks like only one fan is definitely dying the other seems to be ok, but if it came to replacing both i would spend at most 30 for each fan

I'd go ahead and and replace both. Two different fans is never a good idea. I'd look at the Scythe Gentle Typhoon AP15s. There are other, better fans, but I believe these would be the best in your your application considering you are only using a 120mm rad and you can only so much to help if. If you don't like the look of them the Corsair SP120 performance edition is a decent option. However, the ap15s will cool just as well at a lower rpm and be quieter.

I'd agree with above, I honestly don't think you can go wrong with the performance of the Gentle Typhoons.

I think ill go with the sp120's their cheap and they should do the job, plus the fans i have in there now are super loud so even the sp120's will be an improvement

I have SP120s i always have them in minimum note that many users experience noises when under voltaging...

I heard cougars are also a good option and sometimes cheaper biggrin.gif

BTW buy a two pack if going with sp120s Hoigh performance and do a push pull thumb.gif

I have both Gentle Typhoons and SP120 (quiet edition) in my rig. Would totally recommend either one biggrin.gif
