I'm not bothered about a few images here and there.
I think you should do a quick google search first before asking the members because I notice even for the past mod of the months there were build logs posted in other forums but able to compete over here. There were also members who used different build log names in this forum & other forums so when you do a background check, seems like they didnt post it anywhere else. To be honest, I think that rule is a pretty stupid rule but then it can be "bypass" easily so why bothered.

e.g http://www.xtremehardware.com/forum/f142/red_darkness-38763/

Looks pretty much a build log to me but seriously though, you guys might want to consider removing that rule or something.

A build log that gains considerable popularity is nearly impossible to contain. The only way I think you could prevent sharing is watermarking and incorporating some legal ramifications. But that would be stupid. Just because a build log is on another site doesn't mean the OP posted it himself.

It would be very weird for someone to rip off an entire build log. I haven't seen it.

I'd like members to be honest when I ask but I guess that's a bit much to ask for some people frown.gif . I don't think removing the rule is the right answer, given the way some people post on any and every forum It'd be a little embarrassing if our MOTM was plastered everywhere. It should be kept to OCN members imo.

Cheers, think there's still room for improvement. I'd like image mapping for the logs, one fella on Facebook suggested a Calendar which I think would be awesome etc etc. MOTM is a work in progress..

If there are any further suggestions as far as MOTM goes ( Rules, structure, layout etc etc ) please post here http://www.overclock.net/t/1183902/official-ocn-mod-of-the-month-contest-rules-and-discussion and we can discuss it there. This isn't really he place but I'd like to hear them for sure.
