Steelseries Sensei pro grade or Razer Deathadder? - Page 2

get the DA 3.5g If you want good tacking with out alot of cursor correction even though all mice have some sort of it the 2013 seems to have it to the point its notifiable i tried alot of dpi settings on mines up to 6400 and couldn't make it jitter much like my da 3.5g. With practice you can adjust to da 2013 not saying its a bad mouse just saying the pearlier da has better tracking. I still use 2013 though cause with practice in cs:go my aim got better also max tracking is rather high

Is the "metallic" coating of Sensei good confused.gif I'm wavering between Sensei and Rival, but it may take long time to release Rival officially in my country and the price of Sensei is good (~88.50 USD) at the moment thinking.gif

It is just plastic and feel nothing special, i liked rubberized feeling at deathadder top a bit more but hate it's slippery glossy side (deathadder 3.5).
I have seen it's top is peeling like this :

But i have no idea how to achieve that with regular use.

If you sweat alot maybe you'll consider rubber top and side. For me rubber/grippy side is comfortable enough.

i decided to go with the deathadder since they don't have an official release date for the Rival. The DA comes in today.

Oh God, I guess I should pass over Sensei sadsmiley.gif or go with Fnatic edittion (more expensive hmmsmiley02.gif) or [RAW]. Ah, as we're talking about [RAW], I've just discovered the coating of [RAW] Navi edition is pretty nice.

I have both the Razer DA 2013 and the SENSEI RAW glossy.

I have to say i'm in love with the sensei, it looks beautiful and is just too good to use. The precision i get from the sensei is just perfect. Although using it for the first time can be a bit of a problem. I have large hands and have normally used a palm grip, with the sensei i had to change the grip a bit , a clawish type of palm grip. Made my hand hurt the first couple of weeks and plus the side buttons on the right are way too sensitive so i kept on clicking them so just disabled them. But after using it for a month i got used to it and it was just like heaven, couldnt play with any other mouse tongue.gif The keys on the right dont come in the way anymore.

BUT
yes BUT !!!

after 4 months i wake up and the sensei is dead ........... the cpi light keeps on flashing and its in this weird firmware update mode and refuses to come out of it, i've tried everything... contacted STEELSERIES and they said the solution is a product replacement...

BUT
i have managed to lose the reciept as i bought it from a store and i paid cash :/ so basically i have a dead SENSEI and the money has been wasted and my life ruined.

BUT
i also have the death adder smile.gif .. its the next best thing and the only reason i'll say its better than the sensei is because the software is more reliable although razer products do break but usually after a good year.

So there you have it , now my advice to you is to scrap both the DA and the SENSEi and buy the razer TAIPAN ..
