My first loop! hehe

Thread Starter
After fooling around with h50's and h60's for many years, my Dwood bracket on my 680 bended.... Tired and sick of it I decided to just go ahead and put a loop myself, at first i was going wi9th a prebuilt but the community convinced me of going with a custom loop,

My upgrade to liquid Cooling (1st loop):

First I removed the stock cooler on my GPU and Cleaned it properly, let it sit for a couple of hours.

Installed the EK waterblock on my GPU

Clean, and install the CPU XSPC Water block

Arrange the compression fittings

Work on cable management

Adjust and tight fittings with protective foam to not scratch them

Start assembling the loop

Loop completed (missing one fan)

Myt only issue, overlap ammong the reservoirs filling cap and the compression fitting (had to replace for barb)

Filling the loop

Loop filled and running for the 1st time

Loop with all the fans

Kokin speaks truth.
Don't get to the point where you spend more on water-cooling than what your components are worth and you say, hey, wait a minute.

Oh im sure If i didnt shop around it would be the reality, in the setup just depending where you buy it I saved around $90.00 Thats not counting that neither my MOBO's and RAM are not Cooled,

Once i get another 680 i will have to get another RAD and a new block.

it will be another year before that tho
