Need some help with a motherboard

Thread Starter
I'm working on fixing my brother in laws e-cube (or fragbox) but having trouble finding a motherboard. The one that it is using now, I believe ram slot #1 is fried, when you power it up with both ram sticks in it just beeps, take ram 1 out.. boots up just fine, swap sticks in ram slot 2, same, powers up just fine, so i believe it to be that slot.

This is the box:

Now, I don't need the same motherboard, but I am having a hard time finding a mobo that is, from my measurements 7in wide and 10in long. I looked at the mobo for numbers and the only thing I seen on it, is CF-EG65. If anyone could help me out, that would be awesome. Thank you.

Edit: CRAP i think i posted this in the wrong section! please move if needed. thank you

I couldn't find if it was a standard mobo size, but I did find the board.

You'd be hard pressed to find one considering the age of the system. You could always do a new build in the case. smile.gif Although, some modification would be needed. Heck, if I can ever find a LAN around this area, I might try to pick up that case to use. It looks freakin' sweet.

have you tried carefully cleaning the ram and ram slot with clean printer paper? do you how to properly do this?

if i told you plain printer paper can be used as super duper fine sand paper would know what i'm getting at? if yes just be careful not to fold it to thick when cleaning the ram slot as not bend or push the pins too far. also watch the contacts on the ram, they wear through the paper and you end putting your fingers on there instead. i prefer to use the corner of a sheet of paper and fold it over.
