2x dual rad loop setup??

Thread Starter
here's the deal
i already have a dual rad cooling the cpu and gpu
and i'm gonna add a chippsett block, ram block and a second dual rad

wondering where in the loop to put it

my loop today: resarvoir-pump-rad-cpu-gpu-(back to resarvoir)

been thinking of:

resarvoir
|
pump
|
rad1
|------chipp-ram-(back to resarvoir)
cpu
|
rad2
|
gpu
|
(back to resarvoir)

reason i want the ram cooler on it's own loop is couse it has 1/8 and rest of system will be 1/2

any thought's on this?
sudgestions?

I honestly wouldn't bother with the NB, your just adding unneeded restriction in your loop...Same for the ram just hang a fan on it...This is a great NB HS......Swiftech MCX159-CU Extreme Duty All-Copper Heatsink w/ 40mm Fan

it's already heatpipe cooled but the thing is i realy wanna get rid of all my small fan's

temp's is not my main issue but noise is
cool gets second place

in any case with a second rad i think i will land on about the same temps as i have now if not better (i hope)

(edit)
my system is now 3/8 and @cpu 36c idle 62c load, gpu 40 idle 45 load, water temps 28c room temp's 21c

What I would do is add another cooling loop with a 1/4 pump (for cooling your chippsett block and ram cooler) that shares the water reservoir this way you wouldn't be adding restrictions in your main loop and you would illiminate the need for a reservoir and radiator on the 1/4 loop.

my main ide is to break the flow of the water into two seperate line's
the nr1 line going to the cpu and gpu with 1/2 tubing and holes with no restriktion to the flow(spead of the water)
the nr2 line going to the nb and ram with 1/2 tubing and (1/8 holes on the ram) this will make the flow run slower thru that line

aka 2 lines with most of the water going thrue line 1

so u'r ide is to have another pump in the system on its own loop but the same resarvoir?
liking it

but finding a pump for the job is not so easy

anyone know how the noise lvl is on the DangerDen MAG II - LE compared to eheim 1046?
could use my eheim on that loop and uppgrade the other loop with the dd witch i am already thinking of buying if its as silent as the eheim

That can be kind of tricky...The more restrictive line may not get enough water...Here is a fan-less NB cooler....Thermalright HR-05-SLI High Riser SLI Northbridge Chipset Cooler
