PC Boots, No keyboard(PS/2)

My Old PC in my rigs section, I took out a stick the other day to test out my old Z77 OC Formula.
First it was boot cycling, took the battery out now,it reset the bios now the PS/2 mouse will not let me press any keys in bios or OS.
Neither on a USB keyboard, but the mouse is working fine :/
This has truly stumped me.
Thanks for the help in advance !

Do you have a way to make sure the keyboard works? Also have you tried leaving it for 5 minutes or so and see if it works itself out? I had that problem the first time i loaded up my "new" 775 motherboard. The computer just needed tie to work itself out. Only happened the first time.

Yeah both keyboards work in my PC perfectly, i left it for a few minutes aswell still no luck, the lights come on for NUM LOCK but when you press caps lock etc they don't light up...

hmmm... that did not happen on mine. i got no lights at all. Aside from trying to run the windows repair disk and see if the program can find anything wrong with itself and fix it. I'm stumped too. Lotta smart folks will be around on monday though so there is hope.
