Need help finding a specific material for a DIY cockpit from an old post and anybody try the Obutto Ozone?

Thread Starter
Hey guys, hoping I'm asking in the right area.

I finally got a bit more space and instead of blowing money on another chair (somehow destroyed another one) I want to make or buy a cockpit for PC gaming.

I remember seeing a DIY cockpit computer setup using metal "posts" where the cutouts was rectangular. It was some sort of modular material.

Hoping somebody can help link the original thread or know the material or an alternative.

If anybody knows any good threads with "cockpit" desks it'll be greatly appreciated. Been searching for ones with full keyboard/mouse access.

For premade I'm considering the Obutto Ozone (with the desk extension addon) and Voltair Cockpit. Looking for any input on these models or other recommendations.

Thanks all!
