When it comes to raw frames a gpu is almost always a better investment than cpu.
The TI will last you longer, so go for it! When you have the funds to get a better cpu, you do that. But gpu first!

You will be perhaps a little limited by cpu, but will no doubt get better frames wink.gif

I did a similar upgrade and don't regret it. Even if my cpu still bottleneck it was a huge improvement

I have the 660 Ti and for the price it sure performs amazing and has never let me down. i recommend it.

Thinking about going SLI with mine soon.. I heard it can do just as well as that titan in areas.

i got double the Min/Max FPS (depending on the game) going from a GTS450 to GTX460, will i be treated to the same result if i go with a 660ti especially for Min FPS?
