because this is very intriguing. i would love to be able to flash the 280x bios on my 7970.

It seems valid.But I don't any performance gain....then again we will see...

yeah i was hoping for an instant, albeit small boost in performance. would like to see overclocking on the 280x bios and see how it would scale up differently, if at all.
