should I get Pc power and cooling 750w ? - Page 2

What time frame? I tested every V series RMA we received between early August and late September personally, and found only one faulty V700; and that was the customer RMA.

What I'm trying to say is, your friend's V700 very likely wasn't DOA, but probably there was user error or a faulty motherboard. And if it was legitimately DOA, he was one of the unlucky 0.10%

( not trying to be an ... since it's your job )
If you check newegg there is 5 people ( on 35 review ) whos psu did not work on arrival.
maybe just a bad batch tho.

The reviews for all 3 PSUs (V700, V850, V1000) are lumped together. And like I said, many users had issues with not installing the cables correctly.

I'm just saying, don't take your friend's case as representative. Our RMA rate is under half a percent, and our actual observed failure rate is under 0.1%. The V series power supplies are some of the most reliable on the market, and we're willing to stand behind them.

the pc power and cooling silencer 750 is a good psu. anything bearing the pc power and cooling logo should be decent, seasonic too. i have a cooler master silent pro m850 and its amazingly rugged.
