i found one for 299$ canadian...
crap my 250w power supply isnt going to cut it anymore

cpu: amd mobile athlon xp 2800+ 700mhz over clocked to 2800+ 1.02ghz
17 inch crt monitor... umm..
1gig of ram
current video card nvidia asus 6600 agp
and i dont know my motherboard

I would say the 7900GT or the 7950GT (I think the second is within that price range), also I agree with finding a company with the highest stock clocks, I generally like eVGA and XFX . . .

ya, i kno i have another computer that is pci-e, i will just swap the harddrives and use the other comp. and plus the other proc is way better. (amd athlon 64 3200+ 2ghz)
