Hello people, I am upgrading from a 560ti SLI setup. I normally play games at 1920x1200 but sometimes I bump up the resolution to 2560x1600 or 2880x1800 coupled with 16x anti-aliasing for extreme anti-aliasing.I do not care about this G-sync thing or adaptive V-Sync or this Mantle thing because I never notice screen tearing since I am too focused on the game. Since I like to play at resolutions higher than 1200p, my SLI setup is suffocating from lack of VRAM. I would like to get a new graphics card that would not break the bank. I will not upgrade graphics cards for atleast another 2 years. I will for certain watercool it so it needs to be reference card because I do not want to the headache of looking for non-reference waterblocks. In the meantime before watercooling, I do not need a custom air cooler, just a silent air cooler. If the cooler is custom and silent, then great. I do not want to spend over 300-400$. Right now, I am thinking of getting a 280X although I may holdoff until Black Friday. I would like some suggestions as to what to get. Please note I WILL NOT sell my 560Tis as I want to use them as backup cards or put them into my other PCs. Also, my previous GFX cards were a 9600GT, 9800GT, and a GTX 460. I would probably use the 9600GT as a PhysX card if I went the AMD route.
