GPU named incorrectly in client?

Thread Starter

This is an odd one. I have 2 gpus in my rig, a 7950 and a 5850. The 7950 is in the 1st slot and 5850 2nd. I want to fold 24/7 on the 5850 in the 2nd slot, so I set the client up to do so. Now the weird thing is that the load goes up on my 5850 but it is not showing the correct name in the client and doesn't seem to be leaving 0%. Any ideas?

Goodluck with that F@H is ridiculous when trying to get it to fold on one slot or the other. I have 2 780's and when I got the 2nd one I didn't have a waterblock for it so I didn't want to fold on it and everytime I would have it running right I go and restart my computer for whatever reason and start folding and hear the fan ramping up, it just chooses whatever gpu it wants to fold on even if I delete all other clients.

V7 is horrible. When using mixed gpus the slot order and index is always wrong.

What @PR-Imagery  linked is the correct way to do it, that should work.

I tried that method and it still wasn't working, tried reinstalling drivers and that has worked thus far. Both gpu's are under their right names and folding away. I'll keep that link handy though as I will probably need it in the future :thumb:
