Had more luck on fat 360 than ps3. Although most fat 360 i've owned had DVD drive issues than RROD.

I know your feels. Even though I defend the PS3 YLOD, it happened to me twice, but I only had to pay the $130 the first time. Mine was a Blu-Ray player problem though. Happened on the exact same map and gamemode on CoD:4 both times.
