It's going to be $30 at Gamestop on black friday, if you can wait a month lol. That's what I'm doing anyways.

Proof: It's hard to see but it says $29.99; Also on PC and PS3.

Are there any Performance analyses out yet? I'm a bit worried as my Ageing PHII@ 4.2 GHZ was only averaging about 40FPS in beta...

They have had some pretty honestly crude reviews before.
http://www.insidegamingdaily.com/2013/02/12/45517/ is an easier to find example. But I have seen reviews of 1/10 for some games.

If he really liked Battlefield I can see the rating, however he doesnt' really say anything that is "9.5/10" material to me, unless he rates a lot of games that high.

He doesn't say it's revolutionary.

He doesn't say it's one of the best games he's ever played.

He doesn't say it is a huge improvement over Battlefield 3.

He doesn't say that much basically except that it's "damn fun," the single player is "Ok," and that the game is an improvement over Battlefield 3.

I just don't see 9.5/10 from that.

EA does all these conferences where they invite these reviewers (the IGN or Gamespot review talks about how the reviewer went to a "multi-day EA event to play Battlefield 4") and there's kind of a you scratch my back I'll scratch yours thing going on with a lot of these reviewers and the big publishers IMO.

The publishers give perks, early access, and advertising (probably) to those who give positive reviews, and in return they (speculating) get reviews that are more positive than deserved.

This kind of corruption is pretty typical in many industries ... my guess is it happens here too. Whether it did in this case, who knows ... but from that review I don't see a 9.5/10 game... Gamespot and IGN rate it 8 and 8.5 respectively.

"totally awesome way"
"So God damn fun"
"Keeps you on your toes"
"Awesome"
"feels godlike"
top to bottom improvement over bf3 and bf3 was a damn good game
lighthearted moments giving you some more feelings for the characters
memorable characters
bf3 was so fun and bf4 is so much more
don't miss out on the sequel if you liked bf3
or bf4 is a good was to start if it's your first time

All seems honest just not strongly defined. He has the review of an average gamer fanboy I believe Lawrence often rates high
