It's not very good. My buddy bought one for his FX6300 and I applied AS5 and it ran pretty hot compared to the Xigmatek Dark Knight I gave him.

Of course it did, because the Dark Knight is physically larger and has more cooling capacity. It's like saying, "Man, my Cooler Master 212+ Evo sucked compared to the Noctua DH-14 I just got." Of course, because the DH-14 is BIGGER. You're comparing apples to oranges.

I had a Hyper n520 and loved it on my old Phenom II 920. It allowed me to overclock to 3.4ghz and keep temps in check. The short design really helped me in my case because of a huge side fan. It gave me the clearance I needed while still being able to use a tower cooler.

Thats a terrible comparison. The Dark Knights is barely any bigger than the N520 and it even had only one 120mm fan on it.
