I have my doubts, and I think a majority of people here will vouch that they don't trust their registry to anything but CCleaner
. Sure everyone is entitled to their own opinion in what "great software" is. Tho as a software developer/programmer, I like to know exactly how the software I use is doing its job and how effectively and efficiently it is at it. CCleaner wont touch any keys that are critical to the system. I prefer running CCleaner, and cleaning the rest of the registry by hand (no registry cleaner is 100% effective). Tho cleaning out keys in the registry doesn't impact performance all too much on Windows. If the comb gets very large you could experience longer boot times, but once the database is loaded its really not all that much of an issue. It may become an issue if your computer has been running for a year and has had every type of software ran through it at some point. Tho you are suppose to reformat your machine (clean install) every 6-12 months in my opinion. My machines are always fast, efficient, and never need software to improve their performance. If you are reliant on software to improve your machines performance you are either illiterate (don't know any better) or running outdated hardware. I have been using CCleaner and Malwarebytes for 5-10+ years now. Not once had I ever had an issue with either of them. The fact this software is made by the same amutures who made GameBooster, tells me to strongly urge people to stay away from it.
