Looking to buy a new TV for regular use and some gaming. How much will it cost?

I'm looking for a 52-58 inch HDTV

I have no idea if it should be LCD or LED or what.

I want one that isn't overpriced or like some new LED crystal that's going to cost like 3000 dollars

Just something that is priced well and that will last for a long time.

I am giving my current one away that's 34 inches because it has a high pitched sound that comes from it. I would like 1 that has no high pitched noise.

If you know of any exact ones that are worthwhile of buying hook me up with a link.

Thank you smile.gif

You must have no local electronic store to go check out... It is hard to give opinions on things like TV, monitors and such... it is best for you to go somewhere local and check out some for yourself.

In my case I have just purchased a Vizio 55 LED from BestBuy recently that was quite inexpensive and yet a very good set that doesn't not break the piggy bank.

I just got one of these:

http://www.amazon.com/Sharp-LC-60LE650-60-inch-Aquos-1080p/dp/B00BG5M93Y/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1383375865&sr=8-1&keywords=sharp+60le650

$1090 or so at Amazon

Great picture, and silent to my ears... Works well for gaming too

As for lasting, its the third Sharp TV I've had experience with, First one was ages ago and was abused in a Kitchen for many, MANY years before it finally died (By "abused" it ended up with heat damage to the case and everything, The thing was not treated kindly) and the other one is still going strong despite a good 5 years of use as a bedroom TV... So yeah.. Can totally vouch for Sharp
