That M3800 is definitely sweet man thanks may have solved 80% of what I'm looking (the other 20% is operating OSX)r. Deepor, I never worked a Hackintosh but since hearing about it I'm really interested in having one and experimenting for myself

I doubt there will be much if any difference in terms of cost between the MBP and the m3800. The biggest difference besides the obvious is that the m3800 will probably feature a professional graphics card. I doubt it will be as upgradeable as Dell's m4800 range either. You'll find that most ultrabooks these days are nearly/just as expensive, non-upgradeable and unfixable as MBs. And don't forget, the 15 inch MBPs come with Haswell quad cores. There aren't many ultrabooks equipped with those around. The only ones I know of are HP's ZBooks and the m3800, and they ain't cheap. I may come across as an Apple zealot, but I'm not. I'm just trying to be a little fairer than most people on here are towards their products.

Few of my friends have the 2012 Retina 15.
Adobe 2D (Illustrator + Photoshop) + Web they last around 4.5-5 hours under Mavericks, So if thats any indication for Haswell refresh should be netting an extra hour or two.

Thank You all again for all your input, unfortunately I had to pay tuition out of pocket this year and had to downsize my budget. However I was way more educated and smarter when I went for purchasing a laptop. Along with the cyber week deals and EPP discount and haggling an extra $25 off from HP I bought a HP Envy 15" here are the specs and total cost:

HP ENVY 15t Quad
Product number: E2E34AV

• Windows 8.1 64
• 4th generation Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4700MQ Processor
• NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) GT 740M Graphics with 2048MB of dedicated video memory
• 15.6-inch diagonal Full HD BrightView LED-backlit Display (1920x1080)
• 8GB DDR3 System Memory (1 Dimm) upgradeable to 16GB
• 1TB 5400 rpm Hard Drive
• NO mSSD Hard Drive Acceleration Cache
• No Additional Office Software
• Security Software Trial
• 6-Cell Lithium-Ion Battery
• No Internal DVD or CD Drive
• Backlit Keyboard
• HP TrueVision HD Webcam w/ integrated digital mic
• 802.11b/g/n 2x2 WLAN and Bluetooth(R) [2x2]

Processing 1 $780.19
Tax: $67.29
Shipping & handling: Free

Total: $847.48

I hope I can install OSX and play with it. Any resources that you would recommend to begin installing OSX?

good value there

Google is your friend there are a lot of easy to find resources for OSX Mountian Lion on Intel machines. OCN TOS doesn't allow for Hakintosh discussions.
