. Titan was never worth 1000$, stop defending Nvidia for price raping us. Seriously, just stop.
On topic: looks like Nv is taking AMD seriously again. Bodes well for us, the consumer.
Do you know why NV is taking AMD seriously again, because they finally have competing products.
Do you know why NV dropped prices on the 780? Because AMD has a competing product.

Fail like the 7970GHz..
Do some research before commenting, that's all I'm saying.

I had never heard of the HOF. I'm really close to ordering just a little hesitant because i've heard a 28nm version of maxwell could be on it's way come January which still wouldn't be that big of an issue as two 780s will last me...well an eternity as far as PC gaming is considered. This is for 120hz but i don't have an issue playing at 60hz i prefer when my games run at 120fps though. I would be staying on air then moving to water down the road. Already have a buyer lined up for two of the games if i get a 780 which would the price 60$.
Galaxy is also 540$ and i've got a 470 from them that is still going so i wouldn't mind them either.
Honestly, you should wait, the 780 TI is around the corner, and is dropping at $699.
The 780 Classy on NewEgg will be forced back down to $579, NE was just price gouging.
Plus, with the 290 around the corner, who knows what's going to happen.
This is a great time to be a GPU enthusiast, I'm glad I've waited this long to upgrade.
What are the latest sources
on 28nm Maxwell?
