Radeon Pro and stuff

post #1 of 3
Thread Starter
Today I downloaded Radeon Pro and it has helped me gain frames in a lot of games.

Farcry 3 has a problem with injectors. I hate its FXAA though and the depth of field effect. I went into the config files for Farcry 3 and disabled PostFX. Then with radeon pro I was able to use SMAA without the game crashing (DX11 too). I also let radeon pro disable aero whenever I run the game. Boost in frames and much better visuals! Game feels much more responsive.

Crysis 2 has a really bad blurry effect to it at highest settings. I disabled them using an autoconfig file and typed this into it

r_FSAA = 0
r_UseEdgeAA = 0
r_PostMSAA = 0

Then i used radeon pro to disable aero and use SMAA. Boost in frames and much better visuals! Game also feels much more responsive.

The last game I tried this on was Battlefield 3. I disabled all of Battlefield 3's antialiasing measures. Then I used radeon pro to add SMAA and disable aero. Once again I see a really nice performance boost AND the game feels more responsive.

Anyone who hasnt tried Radeon Pro but also likes to Inject SMAA into their games, go ahead and try it. You can use it to tweak your games even further. Why hasn't AMD hired the guy who made this though?
