just got a dell venue pro 8, don't forget about it or the asus t100. they play civ 5 and team fortress 2, and have full desktop Office.

cheap too. really enjoying playing civ in bed on the dell.

I guess the options are a 16GB iPad Mini for $340, or a Nexus 7 for $295
Is either much better than the other? I own a iPhone 3gs, and I like the apple OS, but I don't know which to pick tongue.gif
Is either better hardware/speed wise? smile.gif

Hardware, definitely Nexus 7. User experience? More of a personal choice. Android allows for much greater customization (even without rooting). Meanwhile, iOS is very easy to use (at least as long as you stick to the Apple way).

at that price, Nexus 7 wins without doubt, IMO. thumb.gif

Ok, It'll probaby be the nexus 7 unless my mother ends up buying an air, then i'll buy her ipad 3 64gb for $350 - $400 smile.gif

You really can't go wrong with the Nexus 7. For $229 it's a powerhouse of a 7" Tablet. I personally think the 7" Kindle Fire HDX is a great choice as well. Same resolution and ppi, but faster processor options.
