I guess if you're still in the return period and have the cash, faster is better! biggrin.gif

I've never oc'ed my ram before but I would be willi to give it a go. 2133 corsair dominator platnium isn't cheap. Lol. Primarily the reason I went with 1866

So, is 8 gig memory too little for bf4? i run my game in ultra and i crash saying i run out of memory...on high its fine..BF3 was fine maxed out. So i ordered another 8 gig and will see what happens. You can see my below, I shouldnt be having problems i would think.

No... I think most people with that message had scaling too high and the GPU ran out of memory.

I haven't seen any of this running out or memory (GPU related) or memory leak nonsense people are going on about. With chrome open with 5 tabs and BF4 running (Ultra 1080p), I haven't seen usage go above 5.5GB

If there was an actual benchmark tool we could run, it sure would make this a lot easier and I would be happy to share my results. This is the first game that I've seen evidence of higher speed memory effecting avg fps and not just min fps. I've seen a decent improvement in min fps in other games though.

I'd rather get faster RAM instead of more (of the same). I'm lurking over some used 2133Mhz RAM. Hope the seller responds fast to my message tongue.gif

(considering you still use the GSKILL Ripjaws 1066Mhz RAM)

i know, but it wont run more than 5 min without getting the error...Running the beta 7 drivers....I didnt change any scaling settings so im guessing its still 100% default. Maybe ill try and reinstall drivers and afterburner tonight...my osd is not working in bf4 either so i wonder if something is conflicting. if problem persists ill make a dedicated post to try and figure it out...thanks smile.gif

2560 X 1600 with single GTX780 Ultra settings

I would love to see more info on the 1600Mhz. +Rep for the ppl who upload these benches.

no offence, but his "benchmark" sucks. No information about Singleplayer or Multiplayer, Map, Settings etc.

I'd like to see some more "quality" benchmarks smile.gif

how about ultra with some aa @ 1080p? more real world usage, like 2x-4x deferred or medium-high aa post? beggars can't be choosers, but i know i'm really wanting to see 1600mhz too.
