razer deathadder 2013 durability

Is razer da13 build quality is really bad as people say? And it's worth the money?
Not sure why people would say that. I mean sure there are bad batches coming out but that's normal with all manufacturers.

In any case I was really hard on mine and despite what I put it through it still was in excellent shape. Buttons were still nice and tactile, the coating and rubber sides didn't rub off or fade and the cable was designed very well. I didn't notice the smoothing the mouse is said to have and it tracked well on all the mousing surfaces I own.

I preferred it over the regular Deathadder 3.5 that I bought to compare before selling it.

If you're in the US you can buy it cheaper than MSRP and many places allow you to price match the Amazon price. Not sure about elsewhere though.

been using the deadtadder 3.5g for 2 years, no defects. i`d like it to have rubber sides like the 2013 because the glossy finish is annoying.
dont know the diffrence in build quality but the older version is good and worth the money (imo).

I've been playing CS:GO with the 2013 DA... a lot. It saw extreme use during the summer where I spent several hours a day playing and with little to no air conditioning. I also played some BF3 and Black Ops II. It's responsive and doesn't skip a beat and I mainly use it at 800 DPI though I would dabble with 400 occasionally. The lift off distance is really good for me and I didn't have to resort to using the tape trick.

If you find the shape of the mouse comfortable then it should be a good mouse. Again there may be some bad ones that slip out of manufacturing.

There are a ton of users who don't have any issues with their DA2013. I've been using mine since early February without an issue.

I don't have a 4G DeathAdder.

I have had 2 DeathAdder 3.5G mice. They are still in working condition despite heavy use. Only the coating wore off, which is a cosmetic issue.

Using a death adder 2013 atm. Its a great mouse. had it for around 2 months tho...but it seems top notch. Fits my hand like a glove and performs like a champ. Its a rather large increase in quality over my mx-518. I see no reason to doubt it.

My only complaint with this mouse is that the LOD is too low on many surfaces including Razer's own Manticor and Goliathus, and Synapse doesn't help. I put on some thick 1mm feet since the stock feet were very thin, and the mouse would not track at all on those two pads. Ironically enough it tracked perfectly on my Steelseries SX, that's why I didn't find out until I switched to the Manticor.

Build and cosmetics wise it will last probably a year before starting to wear off at the rubber and bottom parts, but that's pretty normal.
