This may also have something to do with the voltage required for 2133+.

Do that many people really run their ram at 1.65v 24/7?

Also amd should have no problems having the same fps in nvidia games. I hear the new drivers coming out in afew days will drastically increase performance in the "290/x" cards

Haha what all that by nov 7th? Plus isnt mantle only being used for 1 game at the moment?

Yes, only one game so far, and that game is STILL in beta testing ... Battlefield 4.

Taint3dBulge is delusional with all the other stuff. Not going to happen in 8 days, MAYBE a new driver release, but then again, nVidia is cranking out drivers faster and speeding up games (including BF4).

Why would the GTX 780 Ti be using the A1 stepping instead of the new B1? That screams fake to me.

Mantle wont come until december, far after the 780ti and most likely before non reference 290x's.

So far, 1 game engine is confirmed for mantle (frostbite 3) of which 15 games are in the works to support, the first of which is obviuously bf4, about as triple A as you can get as far as im concerned. Crytek and unreal have also expressed interest in mantle, hopefully those names ring a bell.

Its kinda weird that amd delayed the 290 release just for a driver. I figured the were having yield issues, but to make reviewers redo their tests with this improved driver? Strange

I was gonna grab a 290x but now I dont know what to do with this 780ti coming out soon. They are making it very difficult for me to spend my money lol.

290x with a monster cooler on would still be cheaper and deliver similar performance, I can't see nVidia pricing the 780 Ti anywhere near where it should be.

Remember the other thread where the GTX 780 Ghz is supposed to be built on a newer B1 revision ?

Why would a full blown GK110 be built using the older A1 ? After all Nvidia said it would be efficient and run cool, it bet this is the chip that stands to benefit the most, given the core count and clockspeed.

Great point. You win. I also believe this will be a GHz card also.

Article is FUD.

If this ends up being true, how much of a performance increase would we see over Titan?
