Upgrade for my 660ti..

Thread Starter
Hello!

Currently sporting a reference 660ti card. While it is a great performer, I feel like it is falling behind in current games. Playing Battlefield 4 on ultra @ 1080p with 2x anti-aliasing yields around 35-60 FPS. While that is not bad, I want to upgrade to something more beefier.

My budget is around $450
This is what I have in mind:

Nvidia 770 GTX
AMD 290 (when released)

Depending on the price, I may throw in a 120gb SSD since I have still rocking a WD Black.

Current CPU is a Intel 4770K

+1 for R9 290 assuming that it will be $450.

You should add a poll to this thread so people can vote on which card you should buy. thumb.gif

You could look into getting another 660ti to go SLI? unless you don't have a motherboard that supports SLI or would rather a singe card.

For the price/performance it's really nice
