Is my Cooler Master Hyper T4 working as it should?

So I was using an amd fx 6300 with stock cooler and was getting these temps: Idle 30-34 C .. Full load (prime95) 60-65 C
With the aftermarket cooler I am getting these : Idle 28-33 C .. Full load 48-51 C
I am using stock speed 3.5 Ghz . Is this cooler working as it should? I applied the thermal paste that came with it and I am worried if maybe I have put too much

How much thermal paste did you put on?

But otherwise the temps look fine.
