Pulled the 6870 out of the ole t7400 and took off the Dell backplate/support/slide, whatever you want to call it, so it will fit in the new case.
Had to cut a little piece off tongue.gif

Well, sold the sig rig today minus the GPU for $200. Just the tower with CPUs, RAM, and HDDs.

Got an email from NCIX saying that my case shipped (finally) tongue.gif

Will order an SSD tomorrow!

Picked up a 120GB Kingston KC300 from ebay for $70 today.

Anybody know the difference between the KC300 and V300?

I have received the case and have everything installed.

Just purchased a used HD 7970 from a member here for $220, so it should be here sometime next week.
Also waiting on a SATA power to molex power adapter to run my intake fan, should be here in the next couple of weeks.

I guess people are not that interested in "plain" builds with limited resources tongue.gif

Don't worry, they did the same thing to me too. But it actually worked out because a few days after they had a sale on it so I emailed them and they lowered it because it hadn't shipped out yet. But glad to see another person with a Mini Cube. I think that makes like 3 of us now lol.

Haha, I believe so.

I really like what you've done with yours. Is that side panel just a piece of acrylic? I might steal that smile.gif

If I end up doing any mods to this case, I'd probably just put a hole in the front for 92mm intake fan (But it took me forever to get the cables packed in there, may be a while before I decide to go for it. lol)

Sorry for late reply. Yeah, that panel is just a clear acrylic that I had cut. Then there's that white piece, which is separate, I had cut to have a border so it would look a little cleaner. At first I thought of just doing a 120mm hole in the front but I needed another spot for a fan to cool the video card since my PSU took up too much space at the bottom for that fan space there. So I just did two 120 in the front and stuck a H100i there. My video card just barely fits though lol. It's probably like a mm or two from touching the H100i rad. But yeah, go for it. I saw that idea from another guy here lol. All I did was take the stock side panel to Tap Plastics and have them copy it. I should of gotten a thicker acrylic though.

I bought a piece of acrylic the other day, just havn't had time to cut it yet. tongue.gif What thickness did you use?

I havn't forgotten to take pics, things have just been busy lately.
I think I'll just do a quick video because I can't seem to find the battery for my camera rolleyes.gif

My cheapness showed itself once I started using premiere and encore again.
I purchased 16 gigs of Corsair XMS3 today for $120 (2x8GB 1600MHz CL11).
Still need to go up to an i7 or HT capable Xeon though biggrin.gif
(thats what I get for being cheap to begin with, lesson learned)
