x79 Dark not letting me into BIOS

Ok so I have run into something a little odd. When I power on the PC and press CNTRL + M to enter BIOS, I go into the Marvell Bios, and not into the main bios. I am not getting any error codes or anything else out of the ordinary. I just can't access the x79's bios. Not sure what my next steps here should be. Parts list below. I've tried booting in all 3 possible bios selections. The first 2 won't post, the third will show me the X79 DARK flash screen and allow me to press CNTRL + M or Space. Any help would be greatly appreciated because I'm really scratching my head on this one.

CPU - Intel 4960x

MBO - EVGA X79 DARK

GPU - GTX TITAN x 3 (SLI)

SSD - Samsung 840 Pro series x2

HDD - Western Digital 1TB drives x2

evga mobos have known BIOS issues. If possible, I strongly suggest returning it for a more stable x79 platform.

I have the same happen to me on my Asus P8P67 mobo, if you hit ctrl+m it goes to the Marvell screen, I actually have to hit space in order to get into my BIOS. IDK if EVGA is the same as Asus but it's worth a shot.

I tried pressing space, it just sent me through to the OS (Which obviously isn't installed yet) but not into BIOS.

EDIT - Upon further investigation you can get into BIOS with either DELETE or F2. There is no place that it says this on screen though, hence the mixup. They really should mention that CONTROL+M enters marvell bios, not the actual BIOS.

Thanks for the input guys. Pulled the info from here.

http://www.anandtech.com/show/7426/evga-x79-dark-review/2

this is anandtech's review of the board, he complains about the shoddy BIOS and after reading through the comments, many of the users are experiencing similar problems with the BIOS.

I see your post was resolved on the EVGA forums. As i suspected you were pressing the wrong combo. Glad this was sorted out tho.
