EVGA Hydro Copper blocks vs. EK GPU blocks?

As most of you know, the EVGA GTX 780 Classified can now be had for $580. They're also selling a Hydro Copper Classified for $700, which is $120 more obviously, but an EK block for the Classified also costs $120. No matter which waterblock I choose I'll end up dishing out a total of $700, except I'll save the hassle of installing the block myself with the Hydro Copper.

So how does the Hydro Copper block perform, particularly in comparison to the EK block? I've heard the Hydro Copper has terrible VRM cooling, is this true?

What is VRM cooling, if you don't mind me asking? eek.gif

VRMs are Voltage Regulation Modules, and they're part of the graphics card's on-board power supply system. The cooler they are, the better they can supply stable power to the core.

The Classified blocks are far too new to have been tested but you get the idea just from looking at the difference in how the two blocks are constructed.
