nvm
If you look at "Step 2" under the Realtek AC'97 Audio Driver Update, it wants you to be logged on to the PC as an administrator to install the driver. That could be the problem.

EDIT: Posted to slow..sorry to hear that. (Thanks for rep, trying to help with my limited knowledge, lol)

Could be your "Some asus AGP" or your "8800GTX. (9600pro)"

But on a serious note, check your PSU. 200W is low. My 480W Generic PSU ate my HDDs, and would randomly cause chugging in BF2. Thought it was BF2. Then I got CS:S. And for the first ~20 minutes of playing it was about 5-10 FPS with a few bursts of "normal-ness." Got my new PSU, HDDs stopped being eaten, and chugging stopped.

I think I am going to be with Pook on this one... suspect PSU.

Check voltages when you put a load on that rig.

And the PSU could be the first part of your new rig... temporarily powering the old one

This guy wants help, but is unwilling to listen/try the most obvious solutions to the problem. I will fall in line with the PSU not being sufficient anymore. But since you won't even think about getting a new PSU, I guess you are SOL buddy.
