Not wanted to be a picky annoying guy
I am jsut more used to digital foundry comparisons, where they compare pure graphics and setting pc version to same res as console version when comparing

Which completely defeats the point of having a system capable of better visuals to begin with.

well technically speaking, to be a "fair" comparison, you'd need to run pc version on a netbook biggrin.gif gaming performance on netbook vs gaming performance of onlive seems "fair" to me. however, that would render this comparison relevant to those who would NORMALLY game on a netbook biggrin.gif for the rest of the planet who game on a real PC... what he posted is relevant. i wouldn't call it fair. but would absolutely call it relevant. it's no different then showing games playing on xbox/PS3/PC. obviously the PC version would PWN all, and it's not a "fair" comparison, but it's the truth and relevant to the discussion.

fairness has nothing to do with this thread. relevance DOES.

@ OP: nice job. it really opened my eyes on how much "better" onlive actually operates biggrin.gif i was expecting to see all kinds of pixelation with onlive biggrin.gif but i see it's at least "playable" on a smartphone level of performance biggrin.gif I guess in another 10 years or so, it would actually be a viable alternative biggrin.gif

The whole comparison issue aside

This is quite funny, considering this tool is made for people with weaker systems.
Weaker systems already use lowerd graphics to enchance gameplay performance, it seems like they are offering the same service but with latency issues included.

So what exacly is the benefit of this Onlive thing?
You can spend 400$ on a console and have better game experience then this.

As people said, its a waste of time and I don't see it working out anytime soon.
