Blower style or Asus Direct CU for Silverstone FT02 inverted mobo style

Greetings all,

Prices just dropped so I am thinking about picking up one of these:

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DWV3NM6/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pd_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=PSSU7X1LDBAO&coliid=I1EDLQB2LWAL73

Now the big question on my mind is should I be going with a cooler that blows hot air out back into the box, or a regular reference cooler type card.

Anyone else have any experience with this?

If you were running sli, i'd say go with the blower style... but with a single card, i think either will be fine... the massive bottom to top airflow in the ft02 should take care of it.

But what have you got for cpu cooling? Your rig sig sayz h80. If you have a 120 radiator mounted in top exhaust position for the cpu, then i might lean more towards the blower style cooler on the gpu.

I just have a H80, in a push pull configuration on the exhaust fan. Those big 180mm on the bottom do keep things pretty cool, and I will not be running SLI, just single card performance. I just play SWTOR/DOTA 2 on a single screen. No dual screen needed as I have my laptop on the side.

Anyone else have a comment?

I would go with the cu, it wouldn't really affect cpu temps much and the cu will really take advantage of that 180.
