Replacement Fans for Storm Trooper Case

Hey everyone, I've just noticed over the last few days the top 200mm fan of my Storm Trooper case makes a really annoying ticking sound, like its off balance or the bearing is going out. I think I'm going to replace the single 200mm fan with 2 120mm fans (possibly 140mm if they fit, I just don't have time to check right now). Anyways, I have a Noctua NH-D14 heatsink and I really like the fans on it, but after looking at all the options I'm not quite sure what would be best.

Can anyone recommend the best option for a top of the case fan pushing air out? I am open to other options than Noctua, I have just been impressed so far with their other fans so looked them up first. I can make PWM and voltage controlled fans both work, so their speed control mechanism isn't an issue.

Thanks for reading!

Why not replace the 200mm with another 200mm? BitFenix makes a nice red LED 200mm fan imo check link below

I just figured the 2 fans with more surface area would push more air. I don't really want LED's either. Thanks for the suggestion though!

OK..just for the record they come in an all black version as well.

IF colour and cost dont mater to you, then you can look at getting 2X Noctua NF-A14 FLX. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835608034

Other wise my recommendation goes to 2X Corsair Air Series AF140's

Sorry for the troubles with your top fan! If your Trooper's under warranty (checked by serial number and proof of purchase), you can request a replacement at no cost to you as part of our warranty services smile.gif

And for the sake, the top fan area can mount a 200mm fan or 2x 120mm fans or 2x 140mm fans
