Upgrading gtx 670 to gtx 780

Thread Starter
Just wanted some opinions on upgrading from a gtx 670 reference pny model to a evga gtx 780. Unfortunately my motherboard does not support sli so another 670 is out of the question. With the recent price drops i was wondering if its a good investment (future proof wise) especially with the next gen of games coming soon.

Do you have another slot for a 2nd GPU? If you do, there is a software you can download to make it work. I tried it and it works for my old 560 ti.

My board wasnt either biostar z68, but it worked, . I would recommend trying it if you really need to save some money. But if you dont have a good return policy from where ever you buy your second gtx 670, then dont try it.
